We are looking for smart individuals to join us in powering India's ecommerce revolution.  Flipkart is seeking a talented and world-class Manager to join its Corporate Development team, reporting to the Director, Corporate Development. This role will be responsible for sourcing, evaluation and execution of opportunities across all of Flipkart's business groups. The selected candidate will drive the end-to-end investment process, including building a pipeline of external opportunities, conducting industry research, determining strategic fit with Flipkart, driving valuation analyses, organizing due diligence, presenting recommendations to Flipkart's business leadership teams and transaction execution.  Selected past acquisitions and investments include Jeeves, ngpay, Myntra.com, Chakpak, Mime360 and LetsBuy.com.  Key Responsibilities :  - Identify, assess and execute potential investments and acquisitions by Flipkart.  - Drive all stages of the investment process including origination, valuation, due diligence, transaction execution and integration.  - Lead deal origination by building deep ties across the startup ecosystem - entrepreneurs, VC- s, bankers, accelerators/incubators, and other industry participant.  - Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate opportunities, analysing the opportunity and presenting recommendations based on strategic fit, deal structure and transactional issues.  - Manage relationships with professional advisors including bankers, lawyers and consultants.  - Create optimal deal structures that will ensure long-term value creation for Flipkart and ensure that investee companies and their representatives will be aligned with Flipkart.  - Post investment work closely with the investee companies in ensuring value creation and realization for Flipkart.  Requirements :   - The ideal candidate for this role has had experience across venture capital, private equity, corporate development, strategic consulting, operational experience working in a technology firm, investment bank or management consulting.  - Understanding of the technology landscape and a strong network within the Indian startup ecosystem, including entrepreneurs and investors.  - Comfortable with overall investment process including term sheets, diligence and documentation.  - Think Big - identify new areas of opportunity for Flipkart, create investment strategies and evaluate key targets in partnership with business teams.  - Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on deal strategy and all execution related aspects.  - Bachelor degree is required. MBA from top-tier universities is preferred.
