Overview :

Flipkart has been stepping up its approach to learning and knowledge management recently through the appointment of Stefaan van Hooydonk as CLO for the company. Stefaan's vision is to position learning as a 21st century business driver. Learning (informal as well as formal) needs to catapult the company towards new competitive heights. As a natural consequence, the role of informal learning and knowledge management comes to the forefront. Within this strategy, you will support us to set up a solid, scalable and modern knowledge management capability.

Your role will be to champion organization-wide knowledge sharing, capturing, adaptive curation and fast distribution of both tacit and explicit knowledge so that Flipkart's know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders. You will champion what needs to be done (strategic direction) and also oversee the implementation and take along all relevant stakeholders along this change journey.

Key Responsibilities :

- You formulate the KM strategy, architect agile tools and processes, design solutions and scalable proof of concepts and embed KM thinking in the workflow

- You link KM through the organization's operational business processes and systems, strengthen connections between KM and IT as well as other core business processes

- You champion the adoption of new KM practices through change initiatives and other activities

- You promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and later on external partners e.g. communities of practice

- You share your experience and expertise on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing

- You monitor and evaluate the KM results through deep analytics, and also external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.

Skills :

- Digital savvyness: you have deep knowledge and active skills in digital KM and adjacent tooling (social, document management, video-sharing, communities).

- Design thinking: you have the ability to think out of the box, to engage in deep listening and deep analytic and proven expertise to come up with extraordinary solutions.

- Project management: you have proven expertise in handling complex projects and have the ability to follow-through project and programs. You have attention for detail as well as the big picture.

Communications :

- You are able to get consensus and collaboration across multiple parts of this organization, able to explain complex concepts in layman's language, able to generate enthusiasm, able to communicate with all levels of management and staff.

- You can establish straightforward, productive relationships; you treat all individuals with fairness and respect, you demonstrate sensitivity for cultural and gender differences, you show great drive and commitment to the organization s mission and inspire others.

Requirements :

- Total 10-18 yrs of experience

- Strong experience working in areas or adjacent areas such as 21st century communications, knowledge management, digital marketing, informal learning, social tooling

- Passionate learner

- Digital savvy

- Self-starter

- At ease working in new start-up environments

- At ease with establishing virtual networks inside and outside the organization

- Experience in communications, digital media superior learner

- Expertise in seeing projects through from initial concept to final production
