Management

- Involvement in establishment of a new team on receiving side, ensuring on-boarding of processes occurs in a controlled manner and transition expectations are met.

- Provide daily oversight and support for team members in order to help them achieve their daily goals and requirements.

- Resolve any daily resourcing issues that may arise.

Control

- Build and maintain a strong control & risk management environment. Ensure all risks, issues and control gaps are escalated appropriately as per daily procedures ensuring accountability is maintained until resolution.

Commercial

- Ensure best practice is implemented as part of the Team’s daily processing requirement.

- Help implement the department strategy working alongside the local and global teams and Senior Management.

- Manage primary relationships in other regions and resolve any issues that may arise.
People

- Conduct regular 1 to 1’s with staff to address the areas of career development, training, performance and business processing.

Scope and Purpose of the Team’s Role:

The primarily function within the team is the completion of daily tasks, including (but not limited to):

Affirmation and execution of ISDA trade confirmation i.e. paper and electronically confirmed

Resolution trade break

Trade query resolution

Meet Regulatory requirements

Escalation to management of any risk or client issues

Reporting

Participation in global projects

Maintain a good relationship with business units and key stakeholders

Required

- Minimum of 7-9 years Banking Operations or equivalent relevant industry experience with exposure to financial products.

- Proven track record of Process and People Management.

- Previous Management experience of OTC Confirmation roles with exposure to trade life cycles, process flows, Confirmations and reconciliation with proven track record in managing and developing control functions.
Project Management or implementation of global strategic improvements.

Preferred

- Exposure and understanding of Fixed Income Derivative, Equity Swaps and Vanilla Equity Derivative Products.

- Experience of servicing and working for and with a global network of people.
