Fintellix - Associate Product Manager

Assosiate Product Manager, is a high visibility role at Fintellix, wherein you would be required to handle both strategic and tactical aspects of product life-cycle.

- An APM is required to have frequent conversations with senior management to present point of view on prospective markets/regulations and product concepts and also regular conversations with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- The product management team is the heart and face of Fintellix, as it both generates ideas and gathers information from customer on - what works and what doesn't. Moreover, with an entrepreneurial set-up, each member of the product management team gets superior responsibilities at an early phase of the career.

What can you expect from the role:

- Become the thought leader & SME and act as a change agent in articulating Fintellix's solution in key areas of Compliance, Risk and Analytics

- Take full ownership of end to end product management lifecycle, from market understanding, requirement gathering, ideation, conceptualization to designing, prototyping and testing (both strategic and tactical)

- Define/design market requirements for new products and enhanced features for existing products by doing competitive analysis, talking to existing customers/prospective customers, users, thought leaders and subject matter experts

- Conduct independent market research on banking regulations and translate them into business requirements and product concepts to discuss with internal and external stakeholders

- Understand and analyse Customer needs by working with Users, thought leaders, and Subject Matter Experts. Translate these needs into documented requirements for the broader development and develop high-value solutions to market

- Work closely with the product development/engineering team to create phase-wise product development roadmap. Generate clear and concise design documents and specifications for technical teams. Help technical team to translate business requirements into technical specifications

- Define product requirements and overall go to market strategy - Product strategy and road map

- Work closely with marketing team to provide thought leadership, marketing material, blogs, white papers etc.

- Work closely with the sales and pre-sales team to provide sales collateral and help with product demonstrations

What are we looking for:

- An ideal candidate should have Banking Domain expertise. Should have atleast one of the below experiences

a) BFSI Technology Consulting or Enterprise System/Application in Financial Services (Core Banking/ERP etc)

b) (Or) IT Strategy & roadmap development for BFSI Clients

c) (Or) Worked in Internal IT implementation Projects with Banks

d) (Or) Worked on BFSI Consulting Assignments related to Risk/ Compliance

e) (Or) Worked with banks in either MIS divisions or risk/compliance divisions or front end roles

- Should not only be research oriented but also have the ability to translate high quality research into product concepts

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; adaptability to entrepreneurial set-up

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, sales/pre-sales, customers, users and senior business leaders

- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills (work, excel, powerpoint)

- Ability to interact with and influence team with strong product vision

- Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments.

Other Requirements:

- MBA from a reputed B-school, ideally with an engineering background and some experience working in/with the Banking/BI/Analytics industry.

- 3-6 years of work experience in relevant roles.
