About The Company :

Finpeg is a fledgling startup venture that's building an algorithm driven online-cum-mobile platform for offering unbiased advice on investments through mutual funds to retail investors. The platform is geared towards generating a pipeline of qualified leads, which would then be closed offline by a team of highly trained advisers / IFAs.

About Founders :

Finpeg is the brainchild of two seasoned investment hands, both of whom are alums of IIM Bangalore. Between them, the founders have significant experience of working for marquee names in investment banking and hands-on experience of managing institutional portfolio of over Rs 2,500 crores.

About The Role / What Are We Looking For :

We're looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as the Head of Channel Sales. You will be responsible for raising a team of Sales and Senior Sales Managers, and drive the recruitment of advisors / IFAs through your team. You will have overall P&L responsibility for achieving the sales, revenue and profitability target of the entire channel.

What Are We Looking For :

- 8+ years of experience in mutual fund sales

- Someone who has hands-on experience of building a channel from scratch, and is willing to hit the street to recruit and empanel Sales Managers and IFAs

- Strong P&L mindset to take overall ownership of the sales, revenue and profitability targets of the channel

- A strong entrepreneurial mindset suited for working in a fast-paced startup environment

- Must have a passion for grooming, training and licensing of new advisors, and in turn increasing the active advisor base of the channel

- Must be conversant with regulatory requirements related to mutual fund sales, including regulations related to proper cataloguing of customer data and records

- Experience in insurance selling and familiarity with regulations around insurance will be an added advantage
