We also strive to make the lives of class providers easier through our various products and services.  We are looking for a an IT CO FOUNDER who will help drive the technology and IT strategy of the company. This includes:  Strategy & Planning  - Identify technology trends and evolving social behaviour that may support or impede the success of the business.  - Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services.  - Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.  - Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services as a web-based business, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.  - Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development, office networks and computers, and telecommunications.  Implementation & Deployment  - Clear understanding of SDLC process/methodology  - Well versed in Planning, R&D, Roadmap, Product Management, Interaction with Customer Support, IT, Agency and Professional Services.  - Build a strong technology team with the aim of eventually designating engineers in the team as "Technical Leads" and delegating to them the work of guiding the technical direction of more and more projects.   - Build backend tools to automate business processes for marketing, customer service, production, management, etc, and lead timely response to feature requests from internal users and dev features.   - Interaction with internal/external IT Team for deploying products and solutions required for business  - Developing scalable architecture.  - Managing Team of SEO, PPC, SEM, Affiliate Marketing  - Setting up processes, roles, responsibilities, KPIs, SLAs and review and control mechanisms  - Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners  - Responsible for conceptualization & execution of strategies in order to sustain & increase traffic & revenues.  - Analyse and assesses the effectiveness of all existing operations and take care of requirement analysis.  Operational Management  - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices  - Ensure company technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.  - Develop, track, and control the development and deployment annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.  - Ensure the company’s internal technological processes and customer-facing services comply with community expectations and applicable laws and regulations for privacy, security, and social responsibility.  - Contribute to open source software development, standardization of technologies, and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers outside the company, releasing code, presenting at conferences, and writing for publication (online or offline).  Formal Education & Certification  - University degree in the field of computer science, business administration, or another rigorous discipline. An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus.  - Demonstrated ability to envision web-based services that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.  - Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework.   - Strong in OO design, database design and network programming fundamentals. Practical experience with Apache/PHP, Java, MySQL ( WAMP/LAMP architecture). Design and coding skills in front end web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Ajax etc. Familiarity and experience in using technologies such as Lucene, red5, Solr. Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization. Understanding of 3rd party API development (must), Android, I-phone app development. Good understanding of agile methodologies, iterative development, scrum etc  - Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.  - Has contributed to one or more open source projects.  - Knowledge of web standards.  - Knowledge of Internet protocols and RFC standards, database management systems, and revivion control systems.  - Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization.  - Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.  - Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements.  - Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.  Prior experience in a start-up environment (own or otherwise) or experience in an internet company/ company that has an online presence is a pre- requisite.
