Financial Software & Systems - Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst (4-8 yrs)

Chennai Job Code: 330255

Candidate for M&A and FP&A team with 4-7 years of post qualification experience.

M&A

- Understand M&A strategy of the company and screen the market for potential acquisition/investment Targets

- Do primary research on Targets including services / products competencies, corporate structure and management profiling

- Compile Targets financial statements and review company fundamentals

- Assist in carrying out due diligence on the Target and dealing with advisors (Financial and Legal)

- Build valuation model of Target using relevant valuation approaches

- Assist in constructing business case for the Board

- Maintain database of all Fintech M&A and Funding deals

- Assist in strategic initiatives like Fund Raising etc. by co-ordinating vendor/buy side diligence

FP&A

- Assist in preparation of Annual Operating Plan and Five Year Strategic Plans

- Develop and deliver repeatable reports, analysis and dashboards

- Provide detailed analysis and commentary to identify trends

- Assist in preparation of reporting packs for Board meetings

- Provide key data analysis to internal stakeholders and play a consultative role to Managers by providing insights and recommendations

General

- Strong analytical and numerical skills

- Well-rounded commercial and economic awareness

- Strong sense of integrity and business ethics

- Business communication and interpersonal skills

- Energy and commitment

- Experience in Payments/Fintech industry would be an advantage.

- Flexibility, as significant extended hours may be required during specific negotiations and deals, including weekends and long weekdays

Qualification

- Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance from reputed college with 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Finance/ Transaction Services in a Big 4 accounting firm, Investment Bank or Large Corporate

Others

- This would be a dual role with 60% of the time devoted to M&A and 40% to FP&A
