Financial Operations Manager - Accounts Payable - Retail

As a Relationship Manager:

- Maintain exceptional relationship with business stakeholders and resolve business issues

- Constantly engage with business teams and create plan of action to support expansion and product launch plans

- Develop a framework to highlight issues & report metrics

- Work closely with Finance Operations team in different locations (HYD) for timely transaction processing

As a Project Manager:

- Work with business groups to understand business model & different finance processes

- Liaise with Tax, Legal and Accounting teams to understand their requirements and incorporate them in Business Requirement document

- Work with Tech teams to translate business requirements into configurable design specs

- Work with Operations teams to define processes and develop desired systems / tools

- Coordinate with Operations teams to complete testing & provide sign-off

- Responsible for defining measurable metrics & establishment a measurement framework along with required tools & applications

As a Compliance Manager:

- Build processes with strong focus on Controllership

- Define / adhere to policies related to AP & AR and drive consistency (wherever applicable) within businesses and geos

EDUCATION

The successful candidate will have a strong desire in innovating processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, primarily driving innovation on behalf of customers / vendors.

Basic Qualifications

- CA, CPA or CWA, with 10+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Shared Services, Accounts Payable

- Past experience in effectively managing groups of at least 100 - 120 associates.

- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External).

- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.

- Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills.

- Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.)

- Retail industry experience (Preferred)

- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications (Preferred)
