Financial controller is managing the full financing function of the company and reports directly to the CEO.   The tasks and responsibilities include :  - Perform accounting function  - Prepare reporting for group purposes (IFRS)  - Prepare and file local statutory accounts  - Manage local tax reporting requirements (VAT, income tax etc)  - Ensure compliance with local law and regulations  - Prepare budgets and forecasts (G&A and projects)  - Perform analyses of budget-to-actual  - Perform project control function, monitor performance against budget and prepare project reports  - Manage treasury function  - Implement local policies and procedures and monitor compliance  - Assist Senior Management in getting project financing, reporting on project financing  - Coordinate the external audit   - Maintain relationships with external advisors   - Able to handle additional adhoc tasks like due diligence and asset management  The preferred candidate :  - Has a minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience combining accounting with controlling skills  - Has a background with one of the Big 4 or similar in an international environment   - Likes to be part of a start-up enterprise and therefore has a hands-on mentality  - Has the ability to act as financial conscience of the company and be a sparring partner for managing directors  - Is familiar with ICT including an ERP system (JD Edwards/Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excell, Word, Powerpoint)  - Is fluent with speaking and writing in English  Who we are :   Kautilya Finance Investment Advisors LLP ("KFIA")  KFIA is a Delhi based exclusive advisor to Amsterdam based Kautilya Finance BV (the - Investor- ).
