Financial Controller - CA - Real Estate (8-12 yrs)
Our client is a leading real estate company in North India. The role will be based out of Gurgaon.
As the Financial Controller, you will be leading and managing the finance teams covering all accounting and operations including billing, AR, AP, revenue accounting and control, general ledger and ensure that all financial activities are consistent with group policies and procedures. The key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and -Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with minimum 8 years post qualification relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, international taxes and project accounting
- Digitally savvy with a strong knowledge & hands on experience of using SAP and other relevant softwares
- Experience with group consolidation and project accounting
- Exposure in regional operations in a cross-cultural environment, preferably across Asia.
- Ability to be a strong leader and a good team player.
- Responsible, meticulous & must have strong drive and initiative
- Ability to multi-task under a fast paced environment
