About our Client - Our client is one of the renowned MNC in the manufacturing space. They have manufacturing facility in Pune and to support their growth plans in India ,currently they are looking for someone to lead their Finance function based out of their corporate office in Pune.

Job Description - Reporting to Regional CFO and the India MD, you will be managing a team of around 6-8 people and will be responsible for:

- Leading preparation effort of accurate and timely compliance with statutory reporting

- Taking care of all taxation related issues and ensuring smooth operations

- Taking care of costing function at a factory level

- Timely compliance with various local indirect tax requirements and tax incentive opportunities, as appropriate

- Leading activities and tasks of local control and compliance with and effectiveness of controls, and supporting the development and implementation of new controls as determined by the Financial Processes

- Identifying and driving process and technology improvement opportunities, leading setup local policy and procedure under global policy guidance

The Successful Candidate - Ideally you are a CA with post qualification work experience of 8-10 years in a manufacturing set up with a MNC. You have good hold on accounting, taxation and costing practices in a manufacturing environment and are comfortable managing a small team of 6-10 people. You have a track record of performing in pressure situations and are ready to drive and see through initiatives irrespective of the obstacles in way.
