Financial Analyst - FP&A - Investment Bank (1-6 yrs)
A leading global investment bank is looking to hire a Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) for their Investment Banking Division.
We are looking for candidates working in IB's/BFSI with a post graduate degree in Finance from Premier Institutes or a Chartered Accountant (CA)
Specific responsibilities of the team include:
- Reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics to divisional leadership, including revenues, expenses, backlog, market share and headcount
- Drive Business planning and forecasting for IBD (both revenues and expenses)
- Management and control of the division's expense base
- Compensation modeling and margin impact analysis
- Liaison with IBD business unit CFOs, IBD regional finance teams and Controllers
- Ad hoc analysis
Job Description
- Report on Client Revenue Metrics - top clients of division, frequency of revenue generation, etc
- Drive monthly and YTD revenue reporting by deal size and product
- Oversee system used to report profitability by industry
- Track and analyze market share (merger, equity, high yield and inv grade) globally and by region
- Report and analyze expenses by region and at the divisional level
- Analyze travel and entertainment spend to drive syndication rates
- Prepare fully loaded headcount reports quarterly
- Ad-hoc request
