Financial Analyst - Consulting (3-5 yrs)

A reputed MNC is looking to hire an experienced professional into their Global Reporting team, which is part of our Financial Planning & Analysis department.

This is an internal position and not-client facing. The Financial Planning & Analysis department is responsible for producing many standard monthly reports, growth opportunity identification and prioritization, analysis of pricing, planning and forecasting, analysis of key economic drivers, cost redesign, and action-oriented management analysis as well as various other high profile special projects to support the finance organization and senior leadership decision making. The role will involve working on areas such as:

- Produce monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis

- Prepare key operating metrics for a variety of stakeholders and synthesize them into concise, actionable recommendations

- Preparation of monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, metric dashboards and detailed ad-hoc analysis.

- Assist in data analysis, data validation, reviews of standard reports and analyze actual vs budget and provide commentary.

- Ability to analyze data from diverse sources

- Constant push towards auditing/QC current reports, make sure that whatever is sent out to the constituent is 100% accurate.

- Strong technical and analytical capabilities to work with processes and templates

- Control mindset and business foresightedness

- Exposure in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting

Requirements:

In addition, we generally look for the following experience:

- An MBA from a respected university, CA or CPA or equivalent education

- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience with exposure to various areas of Finance – generally in a role where you have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in teams and strong problem solving and analytical skills
