POSITION SUMMARY/OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
In-depth Financial Analysis of Profit and Loss A/c and Balance Sheet of GTS Business - Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) / Securities & Fund Service (SFS); timely and accurate reporting of Business Financials
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA
- Description of minimum work experience required for this role
- 0-2 years of work experience, preferably with Financial Analysis related work
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for providing an in-depth analysis of Profit & Loss (Revenue / Expenses) and Balance Sheet (Assets / Liabilities)
- Responsible to analyse and explain variances in details
- Responsible for providing Accurate and Timely monthly Management Reports
- Responsible for consolidating the monthly forecasts from Regions with variance explanations, if any
- Co-ordinating with Regional Financial Controllers.
- Responsible for providing explanations to queries raised or information sought
- Build a strong working relationship with the New York Finance team and also with other Regional Finance Team supporting GTS business
- Establish and maintain adequate controls in monthly reporting to ensure accuracy/timeliness of data reported
KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
- Technical /Specialist skills/ competencies
- Prior Experience of Financial Analysis
- Good understanding of Financial Statements viz. Profit & Loss A/c and also Balance Sheet
- Good with Excel Spreadsheets, Microsoft Access & Power Point presentation
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability of work Independently under minimal supervision
- Business/Industry knowledge/competencies (Understanding of business concepts, context, knowledge of the industry/ market/ organisation etc)
- Basic understanding of the GTS Business
- Ability to understand local and global financial markets and trends
- Personal Attributes/Interpersonal skills (People skills in customer relations, influencing, leading and developing others etc)
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with highest level of accuracy;
- Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgment;
- Strong written and oral communication skills
