Finance Manager - MIS - CA - Education

Mention Key Deliverables:

- Working with one of the Business Heads for providing the key financial inputs in the business decisions. Working as a Financial Controller for the division.

- Working with the Steering committee of the division for the target setting along with deciding the pricing for the products.

- Preparing quarterly and annual financial projections of the business for providing to the top management and the CFO.

- Liasoning with the auditors in quarterly/ annual financial statements.

- Preparation of annual budgets and tracking monthly financial and operating performance.

- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of the company along with the Business Head for the division.

- Prepare various tools & templates & help in data collection for the same

- Coordinate with various Functional heads to integrate departmental data into a common

- Data analysis

- Analysing and introducing change in the pricing and graded discount structure of the company leading to substantial savings for the division and the company as a whole.

- Assisting for due diligence during the acquisition for financial control.

- Highlighting collection related issues in the division and implementing strict controls.

- Introducing savings in costs for test material of the division by introducing various measures like rationalizing the quantity estimated for printing, instilling strict control measures on quantities issued to centres, controls to prevent leakages in the supervisor payments, etc.

Subordinate:

- Timely development of reports

- Assisting in preparation of qualitative presentation to aid strategic decision making

- Generation of MIS & reports

- Data Analysis

- Reduce costs by exploring cost effective ways & means

External Relationships:

- Acting as First Point of Contact for relationship development at CFO’s Office / Business Heads

- Manage preliminary discussions on behalf of the CFO / Business heads

- Financial Analysis of the Monthly MIS Reports from the various divisions.

- Resolving Business Queries with the help of SAP system

- Preparing various process based flowcharts for mapping business requirements in the SAP systems

- Involve in projects for implementation of various business processes into the SAP system

- Preparation of Manuals like Organisational Setup, Accounting Standards and Store Accounting Manual.

- Implementation of Revised Schedule VI for the company financials.

- Timely submission of MIS Reports and Analysis.

- Timely closure of queries within the TAT defined.

Expected years of experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in business support, Analyst / finance / Treasury Management, Credit / Risk Analyst functions of with at least 2 years Managerial role to a reporting to a Senior like MD/CFO/Business Head. Validated expertise in all Business processes and related fields

- Sound and complete knowledge of Indian Business practices

- Experience of interacting with external organizations (e.g., banks, Property consultants, PR, Media representatives) and in working with internal business partners to improve the business

- Full understanding of multi - dimensional information systems concepts

- Financial planning /Marketing strategy experience preferred
