About our Client - Our client is a diversified and and global leader in the design and manufacture of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and turbines. They're looking for seasoned chartered accountants to head their Pune engineering support centre in SEZ, Cybercity, Magarpatta.

Job Description - Reporting to the India CFO, you will be responsible for Heading the entire Finance function for the client's Pune Engineering Centre

- Overseeing monthly and statutory reporting, ensuring timely consolidation of accounts, and improving the efficiency of the reporting timetable

- Continuously evaluating internal controls environment and ensuring that robust controls and compliance standards are maintained

- Effective management and timely completion of external and internal audits at their Pune location

- Ensuring compliance to all statutory requirements related to direct and indirect tax laws i.e. Excise, Customs, Sales Tax, VAT, Insurance, and Income Tax including audits

The Successful Candidate - You're a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years post qualification experience with a track record of success. You're someone who's got a solid conceptual grounding of finance, accounting and audit. You're an excellent communicator, a natural leader and have a competence to take on challenging assignments with multiple stakeholders.
