Our client is India is an investment firm with INR 3,000 crore under management. The firm invests in companies targeting the Indian consumer market at the seed, early and early growth stages. The firm has invested in several market leading companies in the consumer technology space . They have global network of funds investing in the US, China and India with US $3 billion under management.

Position Background:

This is a replacement position for the firm. The individual would be responsible for ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records including transaction processing and operation of accounting processes and policies for the firm.

Job Description:

Manage the India Advisory operations with outsourced Service providers:

Transaction and Payment processing

Payroll processing

Treasury management

Finalisation of accounts and Annual Audit

Statutory compliance

Monthly and quarterly MIS

Preparation of Annual Budget

Lead on Income Tax assessments

Any other administrative matters as maybe called upon

Manage Banking relationships

Manage internal stakeholders relationships

Desired Skills and Experience:

Qualified Chartered Account

3-4 years of experience in a live environment in with an accounting background

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Tally

Working knowledge on statutory matters like TDS rates, service tax, etc.

Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated

Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems with a level of comfort around changing requirement.

Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints and deliver strong results
