Job Description:

Role Profile:

Job Title: Finance Manager - Supply Chain

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer - CHI Ltd

Purpose / Context / Scope:

Purpose:

- To lead the creation & establishment of best-in-class Supply Chain Finance Department and support the training and development of the Supply Chain Finance team, playing a critical role in increasing finance awareness within Supply Chain partners

- Lead along CFO the Supply Chain Business Performance Management (BPM) process across CHI Ltd to ensure the business plan is attained or over-delivered

- Provide rigorous and sound analysis of business performance along with drivers across COGS, Inventory, and CAPEX. Also, providing Risks & Opportunities to plan along with Outlooks/LEs

- Co-lead the annual Supply Chain Financial Planning process attaining stretching targets to be translated in YOY COGs reductions, CAPEX optimization & Inventory reduction

- Develop & Drive capabilities and common Ways Of Workings across Supply Chain Finance and overall Supply Chain community, included, but not limited, to Systems & Processes effectiveness/optimisation

- Success in this senior management role will be the catapult for further career development within the group

Leadership and Functional Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the CFO & COO to ensure the financial delivery of plans and address proactively opportunities along with mitigation of risks

- Working closely with the supply chain team on Business Performance measurement and Strategy to action monitoring.

- A key financial leader who must interact effectively across a wide range of stakeholders, driving along business performance and financial planning within supply.

- Credible and persuasive with senior teams up to Managing Director level.

- Plays a critical role in financial coaching, increasing financial capabilities in both supply chain finance and supply community

Top Accountabilities:

- Address with the CFO the establishment of the Supply Chain Finance department addressing the Supply Chain Business Performance agenda within CHI Ltd, providing concise, quality management information on key business drivers

- Provider of insightful supply/commercial analysis of business performance issues and opportunities. Drive resolution of issues and hold people to account for follow through on actions that will result in optimal & added value business performance

- Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly Supply BPM pack, Risks & Opportunities (R&O) and strategic plan packs which guarantee full integrity of CHI financials

- Act as a true finance business partner to the COO and supply chain function by providing value-added analysis to correct course or create value

- Develop a culture of data accuracy and integrity across all financial information such as COGS, SKU costing, CAPEX, inventory, etc

- Ensure financial accounting within remit (COGS, Inventory & CAPEX) are accurate at ledger level and in compliance with IFRS

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Qualifications / Skills:

- Qualified accountant / ACCA / Chartered Accountant

- Significant experience in FMCG company leading or co-leading the Supply Chain Finance department (e.g. BPM, COGS, CAPEX & Inventory)

- Extensive experience using ERP and data mining/base tools (e.g. SAP/BW or other) along with advanced Excel spreadsheet for modelling and reporting.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills along with project management skills in a cross-functional/cultural team setting.

- Demonstrable experience of establishing credibility, influencing and working at senior management levels along with self starter, high commitment, delivering against goals with minimal supervision – ability to hit the ground running

- Capable of coaching, training and developing people along with influencing stakeholders in order to execute flawless change-management projects

- Able to lead and energise others through personal impact across organisation, providing at all time challenges to Status Quo and building upon them.
