Finance Manager - Mumbai (Proprietary Trading and Electronic Market Firm)

Job Role :

Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations for the Indian entity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Directly reporting into the CFO, as an Individual Contributor role will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the entire accounting and finance operations for the India business.

- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results.

- Preparing MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance.

- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financials as per the accounting standards.

- Overall responsibility for all taxation (direct and indirect) matters.

- Establishing strong internal controls and compliance systems and ensuring timely completion of Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits.

Person Specification :

- 5 years of post-qualification experience in a MNC/ Big 4 environment with strong technical knowledge and fundamentals along with practical experience and expertise in accounting function, financial management and taxation.

- Ability to operate and deliver in a financial set up by setting up processes and systems from scratch.
