Our client is a leading International Ground Engineering contractor. From operating centers in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia, they have worked in virtually every country in the world. Their services are used across the entire construction spectrum from industrial, commercial housing and infrastructure projects to the specialized requirements arising from renovation and environment contracting.

In order build and grow in a concentrated fashion a Finance Manager position has been created to support the North India Operations - based out of Mumbai.

Job Description: Reporting to the Director - North India, your responsibilities will include:

- Business Support - understand the Business needs and extend his role to support the growth of North India business

- Project Controlling - Project Controlling of North Region based projects, Regular Site Visits to ensure that finance support is fully available to the projects without any compromise on Control aspects. Project Analysis i.e. Budget Vs. Actual, Provision review with OPs Manager with the support from Corporate office & branch offices at Mumbai and Delhi

- Focusing on Payment from all the north region based projects which includes customer meeting (As and when required) etc.

- Extending his full support to the BD team (as and when required) for Tax related matters, Liaisoning with Head office Finance for the Project / EMD BG requirements.

- Coordinating with Consultants / Liasioning with Tax Consultants for regular VAT return / Statutory related issues (including issuance of Form-C for inter state Purchases)

- For Accounting / Book Closure / Auditing providing his assistance to Corporate Finance Team to smooth closure of the said activities.

- Implementation of India finance policies effectively for business improvement

- A supportive function to Finance Controller at Chennai for smooth function of the overall business

The Successful Candidate:

- You will be a Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of post qualification experience.

- You should be a strong communicator in addition to being well presented.

- It is preferred if you have MNC and/or international experience.
