Finance Manager - CA - FMCG/Agri (8-15 yrs)
This position is based in West Africa. Please do not apply if you are not open for the location. They are looking for someone who has worked in a agro trading firm or FMCG company. Should be a CA and have 8-15 years of experience. This is for a company which is part a conglomerate and is in agri inputs and agri commodities.
Role would involve:
- Finalizing Statutory Accounts as per the Accounting Standards and liaison with external auditors.
- Compliance with all applicable statutes/Laws, Rules & Regulations and ensure adherence to highest level of Governance standards; Review of Petitions, Contracts, lease agreements etc.
- Ensure correct accounting of US, ME as well as Indian transactions with softwares such as quickbook, SAP etc.
Reporting:
- Responsible for budgetary control of various units and creating stringent system to follow the budget
- Strengthening the corporate law compliances of listed organizations; Ensure the IFRS Compliance Ensure continuous circle and partner engagement for smooth operations by providing operational, accounting and controls guidance; Implementation of Standards of Procedures in the organization
- Plan and oversee the execution of the Costing, project pricing & expenses of a business, contribute to organizational revenue and growth targets; Credit control and monitor capital expenditures
- Attending Direct and Indirect Tax related matters
- Accountable for monthly financial reports (MIS) supervision, display the correct position of the organization
Management:
- Check viability of new projects, acquisitions at different locations vis a vis project financing
- Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
- Conduct the Profitability and cost analysis; resulted reduction of cost by 20%
