We have an urgent requirement with one of the biggest group for Mobile Handset Vertical at Gurgaon.

Designation : Finance Head /CFO

Reporting to : Group CFO

Qualification : CA/ICWA

Profile :

The purpose of this role is to create the financial plan and budgets for the organization and provide inputs to the top management in making key financial decisions by analyzing budgets and variance reports

Position Objectives :

Financial Planning :

Guide and manage the corporate finance and planning function in line with the objectives of the business :

- Raising flags and ensuring cash flow as per budget. Create and implement a working capital plan and direct investment of excess working capital

- Maintaining the Letter of Credit limit as per the business plan with a target prior to the shipment of the products.

- Investigate and recommend outside resources for capital when needed, negotiating competitive rates

- Report monthly to the managing partners on all financial areas.

- Maintain and administer stock ownership practices and reporting to shareholders.

- Drive alignment of financial budget with company's strategy and assist all functions in working towards achieving the goals of the company within the allocated budget

- Establish overall organization budgets / financial plans in consultation with various stakeholders & cascade down budgets to the zone / circle level. Communicate the same to all key stake holders.

- Lead periodic review of the budgets / financial plans and provide analysis of the financial data as necessary, make recommendations and facilitate creation of written summaries for use by top management and other stakeholders.

Budgeting and Cost Management :

- Work directly with team leaders/department heads in the forecasting of revenues and expenses for all clients, reporting to managing partners on a quarterly basis relating to the services cost, marketing cost, HR Cost & scheme management.

- Achieve timely closure of company's annual financial planning & budgeting process and assign responsibilities for the same.

- Guide and supervise short and long term operating expense budgeting and capital cost budgeting policies of the companies.

- Define the procedure and guide development of all templates and data sources used for creating the budgets and operating plans.

- Assist the department heads understand the budgeting and planning process and their respective roles in the same.

- Guide the design of the organization's budget control report that requires continuous comparison of actual performance with predicted budgetary performance.

- Interface with internal stakeholders in completing the financial planning and budgeting process and providing regular variance analyses.

- Assist management in financial decision making - by analyzing budgets and providing variance reports that can be acted upon by the CEO.

- Provide advice and support to functional heads and Zonal heads for all budgeting and planning related queries.

- Review and record important observations about investment budgets submitted by various functions.

Procurement and Supply Chain Management :

- Investigate and recommend resources for capital when needed, negotiating competitive rates. Providing the price negotiations, Responsible for all commercial negotiations with suppliers, associates, distributors, etc to drive down costs and improve business margins. This would include rolling out pricing for the product in consultation with the Business Head and issuance of the purchase orders to the vendors.

Market Intelligence :

- Provide consultative inputs to the top management and internal stakeholders for decision making

- Build an understanding of the market scenario and industry trends for investments. Advise CEO about the implications of these in the short, mid and long term for the company.

- Perform various financial and budget analysis in the areas of profit planning, capital expenditures, cash flow, budgeting, company performance and competitor performance

Compliance's and Audits :

- Ensure statutory compliance's of all systems, processes & accounting practices.

- Oversee Internal audit operations for the company

- Identify and deploy resources for conducting the company wide internal audit

- Manage and foster good working relationships with other departments to facilitate the internal audit process and achieve timely closure of the same for management reporting

- Develop and establish tax strategies and projects designed to minimize the organizations tax cost in consultation with business and the tax advisers.

- Monitor timely and accurate financial transactions with vendors

MIS Adherence's :

- Establish review mechanism for ensuring accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and reports.

- Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions.

Team Management :

- Perform the role of a people manager for the department

- Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall department KRA's, conduct performance appraisal.

- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution to manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets.
