About our Client - Our company is a US multinational with a presence in Europe and Asia as well. They are into the packaging industry and have more than 20 sites across the world. They have aggressive growth plans for their business in India and are on an acquisition spree. To head their finance they need an able leader. Their India headquarters is in Ahmedabad.

Job Description - As the Finance Head you will report into the APAC Region Head and be responsible to Establish the finance and accounting policy & system for India operation in accordance with the local accounting law and group reporting requirement, continuously improve the process and system

- Supervise and manage the finance function on the day to day basis to ensure the related matters are performed in an effective and efficient manner

- Report in accordance with India GAAP and corporate reporting in accordance with US GAAP

- Complete the corporate reporting package, as well as other routine and ad hoc reports with accuracy and timeliness

- Responsible for treasury management and reporting, including bank line, foreign currency, cash flow and AR/AP management for India operation

- Provide AR serve as appropriate according to the company policy as well as business environment

- Organize the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process and provide periodical actual vs budget analysis

- Set up the standard cost on an annual basis, and perform variance analysis, including cost by product, budget vs actual, prior vs current, etc

- Provide feedback on cost fluctuation, analyze the cause and propose solution as appropriate

- Manage the procurement function based on the production demand and technical requirement provided, including obtaining quotations, vendor tendering, contract negotiation and the ordering process

- Liaise with local management and regional / corporate office on all group financial, legal, and procurement matters, including the inter company transaction and confirmation

- Hire, train and develop a competent and effective India finance team

- To build up and maintain an ethical business environment, including but not limited to the compliance with local law, group policy, SOX, FCPA

The Successful Candidate - You should be a qualified CA with atleast 8 years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing set up. Candidates working for non MNC will not be taken forward. You should be hands on with IFRS and USGAAP reporting and SOX compliance. You should have well rounded accounts and finance exposure.
