Job Description :

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your responsibilities will include but not be restricted to :

- Designing, testing and upgrading the internal control systems towards accomplishment of corporate business goals and internal audit.

- Planning strategies and directing the finance function to ensure achievement of business goals across verticals & geographies within the parameters of the annual operating plan.

- Planning and execution of treasury related activities for both the long term as well as the short term including working capital management, liaising with bankers, clinching long term loans

- Strategising on mergers, acquisitions, debt restructuring and joint ventures

- Supervising direct taxation to ensure the lowest effective tax rate as well as handling service tax through liaison with consultants

- Supporting adhoc MIS queries from top management and investors on both financial reporting as well as operational and business reporting

- Ensuring that accounting and financial statement preparation is completed as per deadlines and in line with the requirements of statutory audit

Profile :

- As an ideal candidate you are a Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of post qualification experience.

- Your experience is a blend of Big 4 Consulting and industry.

- Within consulting you have worked across a spectrum of clients in the services space including media, IT, data analytics and internet.

- You possess a strong understanding of internal controls framework surrounding financial statements and have set up and upgraded systems and processes. Bringing an overall understanding of all aspects of accounting and finance, you are skilled at fund-raising, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders successfully.
