Finance Controller - Packaged Consumer Goods - CA/IIM/FMS/XLRI (8-10 yrs)
This role reports to the CEO and will lead the finance function. The role entails building a robust Finance Function that generates valuable business insights and progresses the business towards financial independence.
We are seeking an individual with 8-10 year experience in packaged consumer goods.
This individual will need to bring imagination to the job since the P&L for fresh food business is yet to be discovered. Blind re-application of models from other businesses may not work. Need someone who has gained a solid understanding of the first principles but is enterprising enough to challenge the conventional frameworks and undertake a journey of discovery.
A Finance MBA and/or CA from premier institutes (top tier B-schools; Article-ship with reputed accounting firms).
The position will be based out of Mumbai head office.
Key job responsibilities :
Developing Finance systems and Governance systems
Setting up Internal Financial Controls
Authoring key finance and accounting policies
Finance lead for implementing suitable ERP & CRM platforms
Finance Planning & Analysis
Manage short term & long term P&L including Growth drivers, Pricing, Productivity, Commodity Costing, Competition Assessment, Promotion Effectiveness, Volume-Price analytics
Support innovation planning, strategic planning, historical volume/growth/pricing trends
Annual & Quarterly Budgeting
Financial Projections and Stress Testing growth assumptions
Monthly Dashboard of key business performance metrics
Investor Reporting
Project Management - planning and controlling budgets for new infrastructure
Commercial Finance management
Supervising Sales commercial team for retail transactions management
Receivables tracking, Age-analysis, credit control
Trade investment control & effectiveness analysis
Setting up & supervising Payroll & Treasury functions
Cash Flow Planning & Delivery
Investment Management, Debt Planning
Statutory Payroll compliance
Leading Cost Improvement initiatives
Variance Analysis
Formulating Conversion fee for Contract manufacturers
Fund-raising compliance
Lead Due-Diligence engagement with investor appointed auditors
Manage all the compliance requirements related to fund raise
Building a strong finance function - recruiting talent across levels
