Finance Controller - CPA/CMA/CIMA/ACCA - FMCG

Our client one of the renowned FMCG groups in Africa is looking for a Finance Controller.

Job Description:

This role occupies an important function in compiling, communicating and analyzing the financial performance for a product category. You would be responsible for effective support of revenue generating activity in parallel with cost reduction and cash optimization including a strong MIS component in which the planning and budgeting, financial reporting, fiscal analysis and decision support. As a finance controller you would play a key role in balancing the task allocation between the Operating Unit and the parent company for economies of scale and business focus . The ideal candidate would be an expert in Financial Control and Accounting and would have a real business focus, using feedback to drive continuous service improvement. You would need to be able to identify and address control weaknesses and create improvements. Monitor the Sectors- expenditures in comparison to the approved budget and report analysis for variances to the Management.

Experience:

Minimum 8-10 years- experience in finance roles, including 3 years in managerial role.

Minimum 3-5 years in financial control experience in a fmcg environment

Experience in the relevant Sector (fmcg, consumer goods)

CPA/ CMA/ CIMA/ ACCA
