About our Client - Our client is a multinational EPC firm specialising in end to end solutions in the architecture, engineering, interior design, and delivery of corporate workplaces. With clients ranging from multinational companies to leading financial institutions, they have a presence in 17 locations worldwide with a strong presence in the APAC region.
Job Description - Reporting into the Regional Financial Controller, you will be in charge of the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, including regulatory corporate reporting and Company Secretary Compliance for the client's India offices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of Accounts Managers and Accountants in creation of high quality financial management information, income and expenditure.
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payroll, cash management and financial reporting.
- Working actively with the audit team and preparation of annual report ensuring compliance to relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
- Providing financial advice on planning and analysis for India projects to business leadership
- Continuously review practices and ensure sound controls are in place
- Performing all statutory duties of a Company Secretary and ensuring compliance to secretarial and corporate laws
- Dealing with Income Tax matters in liaison with company's Tax advocates
The Successful Candidate - You're a Chartered Accountant & Company Secretary with 8-10 years experience with experience preferably in EPC, infrastructure or construction businesses. You have strong legal drafting skills in terms of drafting legal documents including Service Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements. You're well versed with FEMA and ICDR regulations and are experienced in import laws and transactions.You're a excellent communicator and have led a team in the past.
