Finance Controller - CA - Startup - Online Jewellery (6-10 yrs)
We have an opening with a start-up online Jewellery company in Bangalore. The company is in its nascent stage and has received Series A funding from a Venture Capital Firm.
Role:Finance Controller
Experience: CA 6-10 years
Location: Bangalore
- In-charge of preparing quarterly and annual projections, and forecasting business performance via long-term financial models, regular P&L review and pricing decision support
- Prepare monthly financial and operating MIS, and liaising with investors
- Close book of accounts every month. Ensure & monitor AP/ AR, cash flows, cost management & cash burn on a monthly basis
- Review all commercial contracts with financial implications, including negotiations with vendors, etc.
- Ensure all regulatory & tax compliance
- Establish & maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & internal audit guidelines. Maintain oversight over payroll and all internal financial policies
- Provide recommendations to CEO / Board, and support in creating presentations
- Maintain relationships with banks and manage cash / deposits
- Startup/entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial experience is a must.
