Finance Controller - CA/CPA/CMA - Hotel Technology (2-6 yrs)

We are having Opening for our client a Leading company in Hotel Technology in India.

Company offering Software-as-a-Service to help hotels drive more bookings through all their channels Website, Online and Offline.

Position : Finance Controller

Location : Bangalore

CTC : Negotiable

Responsibilities :

- Finance Controller will be responsible for Strategic Financial Management and Business Control with high quality and efficiency.

- The leader will also ensure that all statutory compliance are handled satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Skills required :

- 2 - 5 years of experience - majority of experience in accounting finance operations.

- Proven working experience as a Controller.

- CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) preferred.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with creating financial statements.

- Excellent Excel skills

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

- Understanding of processes and automation to improve productivity of team and improve accuracy.

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.

- Good interpersonal and team management skills.
