Finance Controller - CA - BPO/KPO

Details about the position :

Position : Controller

Location : Bangalore

Requisites :

- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12+ years- experience in a growing, multi-national organization.

- CA required with strong technical accounting knowledge.

- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and India GAAP policies and procedures

Responsibilities :

- Manage general accounting functions; scope of management includes personnel, monthly production and compliance with financial controls

- Ensure credibility of Finance & Accounting group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts

- Oversee India the Philippines financial statutory reporting and compliance function

- A finance leader in India and a business partner to segment executive management

- Prepare a monthly financial reporting package including financial analysis comparing actual results to budget and explaining key variances

- Direct the activities of centers of excellence, cross-segment accounting teams and develop accounting policies and practices, applicable for worldwide operations

- Analyze new and proposed accounting standards and preparing detailed interpretive accounting guidance for assessing the impact to the company

- Provide advice on ad-hoc technical accounting issues as they arise

- Participate in the design and execution of technical accounting training, covering both new and existing requirements

- Develop and implement operational best practices

- Review and enhance financial systems/technology

- Provide regular updates and analyses to senior management
