About our Client : Our client is a world leading Commodities Inspection and Trade Finance support services business with operations across the globe. With a fast growing Asian presence, the firm has retained the services of Michael Page International to assist them in strengthening their team in India at the Senior Management level. Our client has an opportunity for a Finance Controller India, in principle based out of North Mumbai.

Job Description : You will be directly reporting to the Country Manager and your accountabilities will be:

- Manage finance operations including accounting, management accounting, finance control, management of assets/facilities.

- Develop and implement the financial procedures/Policies across branches in India. Develop the Finance Team across Branches in India.

- Manage the tax affairs to ensure the compliance with legislation while preserving a tax optimization for India.

- Ensure that policies and procedures are in compliance with group guidelines and external auditing requirements.

- Manage Cash Flow

- Monitor and manage A/Cs Receivable, A/Cs Payable and invoicing as per policy guidelines.

- Maintain and manage the data inputs into Navision and Outlook soft systems

- Compile and complete statutory financial statements and reports to Government organizations and auditory bodies as well as Headquarters in time.

- Manage financial reporting duties, such as monthly, quarterly, yearly finance reports, activity reports, expense reports, gap analysis (variances between actual and budget) and all other reports as and when requested by the management and Headquarters.

- Responsible for the annual statutory audit. Responsible for Internal Finance Audit of Branches across India.

- Monitor Opex implementation

- Manages security of company's legal documents and contracts

- Provide coaching to finance staff to increase the level of work accuracy and productivity

The Successful Candidate:

- The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8 years sound professional experience in a financial area within Multinational Companies.

- Large experience in local tax area and local accounting practices.

- Experience in Business Intelligence (Hyperion, Navision, Outlook soft, others)
