Finance Controller - CA - Banking Industry (9-15 yrs)
This position will head accounts function in payment bank and will be responsible for accounts, regulatory and statutory reporting, tax (Direct & Indirect) & RBI compliances related to finance. This position will report into Chief Financial Officer
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Management of accounts for the payment bank including effective implementation of accounting policies & processes
- Preparation of all financial statements and accounts for audit
- Ensure statutory compliances & reporting including direct & indirect tax and RBI (finance related)
- Coordinate and successfully conclude financial audits (internal, statutory, tax etc.)
- Ensure full implementation of Internal Financial controls (IFC)
Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree with 10-14 years of experience, preferably in banking industry
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, preferably SAP
- Knowledge Direct & Indirect Tax and basic knowledge of GST, Ind-AS (IFRS)& IFC
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons
