Description of the major duties performed in this job are:-

Position:- Finance Controller

- Participates as member of Unit Management Team and provides financial counseling and assistance, including analysis and recommendations, to enhance operations and results.

- Manages all unit accounting activities to ensure that financial processes and information are accurate, timely, and contain adequate internal controls.

- Participates in the Business Unit's or Units' strategic planning and projects to enhance operations and results.

- Champions various work teams or initiatives.

- Knowledge of financial principles required for budgeting and strategic planning. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

- Understanding of financial statements, cash flow and key financial ratios. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

- Knowledge of accounting systems and policies, ideally including the process that has been followed at John Deere. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

- Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting

- Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

Qualification

- CS and CA is mandatory
