Our Client is a leader in seed technology/Agri business  Job Purpose :   The position is responsible for working closely with Business Unit Leadership Team to help drive business performance. To provide objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact the future choices of business units.  Key Responsibilities :   - Responsible for designing and implementation of appropriate commercial process relating to Finance and Accounts in the Business Unit and partner with the BU Leadership in delivering per plan.  - Review financial performance information and plans including annual budget and the division's monthly management accounts. Ensure they are robust and accurately reflect key business issues.  - Ensure good local cost control and cost management behaviour in the business. Promote good financial disciplines, and risk management processes.  - Work with Corporate Finance and BU Team for robust and effective internal control framework and compliance environment which addresses risk management process, internal controls as well as any external reporting requirements for RCBU.  - To advise internal customers relating to Finance matters whenever required.  - To co-ordinate for accounts finalisation, budget preparation and critical functional decisions.  Key skills and competencies :   - Effective Communication and Influencing Skills  - Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills  - Strong Excel and Power Point Presentation Skills  - Exposure to ERP Environment- SAP  Qualification :   - Chartered Accountant   Past Experience :   - Candidate should have 7 to 10 years- experience post qualification with experience in Accounting Standards and Procedures, working knowledge of Tax/ Treasury / Business Valuation, Banking Regulation and process and Insurance Laws and Procedures  Industry preference : Agricultural Business
