Job Description :   - CTO will be responsible for establishing the company's technical vision, direction and technology policies.   - He/she will lead all aspects of the technology innovation, company's technology competence development and technology operations and shall have customer delight ownership.   - He/She will co-partner with individual LoB leadership to co-create products and services par excellence in the domain of technology enabled education.   - CTO needs to be technologically versatile to toggle between very diverse initiatives effectively.   - CTO will play an important role in company's strategic direction development, business plan development and execution of same to build a robust and futuristic organisation.   - CTO will also be the chief architect of technology systems, products and services both internal as well as external focussed.  Key Deliverables:   - Strategic Planning : Technology ownership during business plan development, innovation, product and service technical feasibility, architecting, platform and technology selection, technology infrastructure planning and set-up, risks and mitigation plan, hedging against technological obsolescence, information security planning, technology audit planning, quality assurance, communicating technology strategy to internal and external stakeholders, Technology due-diligence and Technology integration in case of M&A and amongst portfolio companies etc.  - Technology Operations : Lead set-up or acquisition of Supporting technology Infrastructure, Skilled Team, Set-up development and delivery process as per CMM Level 5 standards, Responsible for SDLC (Software Life-cycle development), Set-up customer support strategy and eco-system, Conduct product and service development reviews including code reviews, Develop Product Release Strategy and manage the release process, Manage subscriptions for various web presence and marketplace, Responsible for optimised software license lease, set-up internal technology systems and support approach etc.  - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices and ensure adoption by the team  - Develop and Mentor the next level technology leadership  - Technology Audit, Governance, Quality Assurance  - Supervise recruitment of right skilled technology team, their development and ensure retention  - Responsible for product and services development, roll-out, support, distribution in timely and cost-effective manner
