Support Business Strategy  - Meet Business Goals and Targets  - Increase bookings, conversions and Top Line revenues by developing new products and services  - Aligns Technology Development to meet Business Strategy/ Product Strategy /Business Goals  - Develop Short Term and Long Term Product Roadmap and Prioritize Projects with Business Owner based on ROI, top line revenues and shareholder value  - Analyze site/product analytics, customer analytics, Competitive landscape and provide key insights for driving bookings growth.   - Instill strong Business / IT Collaboration - Interact with Brand Managers / Product Managers / BUs of different departments and meet Business expectations  - Co-ordinates with Business Owner and evaluates the Project Requirements, Priorities and ensures readiness of projects before development starts  - Builds and drives new product development initiatives.  - Builds strong relationship with other Business Unit heads and provides innovative products and services to meet their objectives.  - Constantly assess the needs of the brand/department/product and provides full support to the business side.  - Beta Test with GDS/Suppliers/3rd Party for First Mover Advantage and Differentiation  Technology Management  - Manage the technology unit consisting of multiple technology teams comprised of a team of experienced software developers, UX and QA engineers, and project managers   - Define technology vision and strategy and create an operational roadmap for development, designers and QA engineers  - Create an environment that drives innovation and challenges the team to explore and experiment new technologies to grow the business  - Improve Developer Productivity and Lower Development Costs  - Improve Product Quality and QA Productivity through QA Automation  - Ensure timely, accurate, and quality execution of all deliverables   - Main focal point for team’s business delivery, product quality, product delivery, performance and availability goals  - Researches New Technologies to innovate Fareportal technology and processes and run POCs  Technical Leadership   - Lead/Supervise Scrum of Scrum Meetings within the Technology Unit  - Reviews Designs and Architecture with attention to details and produces flexible and scalable software architecture and designs with effective use of OOPS, Design Patterns, Enterprise Libraries  - Ensures higher team productivity through proper User Story Estimation and Capacity Planning  - Does spot checks and reviews the design and code delivered by his team  - Ensures code quality is maintained through code analysis, code coverage and unit testing and meets tech goals and SLAs  - Ensures that all User Stories committed in the sprint are delivered on time and not dropped or rolled over to the next sprint  - Co-ordinates with Central QA for Load Testing / Code Profiling to meet Quality Performance Metrics  - Ensures Team QA writes automated scripts for regression testing to achieve 100% QA automation  - Main escalation point for team’s production or release issues  - Provides Hands on support during emergency situations  - Meets Technology Goals and SLAs  - Project Management Responsibilities   - Ownership of the Product delivery calendars and ACTIVE/PIPELINE/COMPLETED (Delivered) list for the brand/department/product.   - Creates Project Goals based on Business Goals  - Clearly communicates business and project goals, objectives and shows the big picture to the development team  - Clearly communicates the project priority, project/development status, release/delivery status, quality status to the Business and Development team   - Master’s/ MBA Degree in IT/ CS or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS with relevant experience.   - 12+ year’s strong technical experience of the Web, mobile and relevant technologies and languages (HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, ASP.NET, DNS, MS SQL, IIS, CMS, MVC and Design Patterns)   - 5+ year’s technology management experience leading multiple teams consisting of of Software Engineers, UX   - Designers and QA engineers.  - Demonstrated experience in Object Oriented Design and Application / Systems architecture.  - Strong understanding of XML Web Services and WCF Services and related technologies (XML, AJAX, multithreading, MVC, MVP).  - Very strong understanding of ASP.NET web platform such as web forms/ MVC, Layered architecture, design patterns and Caching technologies in .NET.  - Expertise in architecting, designing and developing highly scalable large scale web based systems and available applications.  - Strong experience in producing very high quality software and works with the development team to perform code optimization at every layer or line of code with performance in mind for delivering high performance software.  - Must have strong experience in relational databases, Business Intelligence and Analytical Reporting   - Strong Project Management experience using Agile / SCRUM Methodologies   - Must have strong experience in using Visual Studio 2010 / 2012, Team Foundation Server Source Control, tools such as code coverage (NCover), FXCOP, Code Analyzer/ profiler (ANTS Profiler, AVI Code) and unit testing tools  - Experience working with an Online Ecommerce website (Travel Industry will be a huge plus)  Position Requirements   - Great leadership qualities to manage multiple [4-6] teams of 5-10 software, UI and QA Engineers in each team  - Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams through effective communication and established credibility   - Able to translate new trends and technologies into quick implementation to drive biz growth  -
