Fabogo is a glam-tech startup for beauty and wellness services that creates a great experience for users to discover and book appointments for spas, salons and more in their vicinity as well as empowers the business owners to engage effectively with their customers.   We aim to be the world's leading online engagement platform for the Personal Grooming Industry, working to bring business owners and their target market segment closer to each other.  Through slick technology and a fabulous idea coupled with amazing people, Fabogo is out to change the world of fab!   We have a lot of ideas for the future and we are looking to build and grow rapidly, you could be a part of our supersonic growth story.  Come make the world a more Beautiful place (quite literally ;) )  Here is what we are looking to do :  Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media  Coordinate all public relations activities  Cultivate new contacts within business and industry media  Manage media inquiries and interview requests  Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations  Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis  Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.  Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness  Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them  Develops and maintains a company investor relations plan  Monitors operational changes through ongoing contacts with company management, and develops investor relations messages based on these changes  Creates presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors  Serves as the key point of contact for the investors  Here is whom we are looking for :  Proven working experience in public relations required  Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level  Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets  Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews  Exceptional writing and editing skills  Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
