EY - Senior Manager - Market Risk Control

Responsibilities :

- The role requires a background in market risk control or equivalent, a detailed understanding of historical simulation based market risk calculations, architecture, processes & controls along with strong market risk and product knowledge.

- The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of executing high quality end to end market risk processes & control frameworks in a historical simulation environment and a good understanding of the requirements of FRTB and how these should be implemented in an efficient & optimal way.

- Deep product (derivatives & cash) and market risk knowledge in more than one business line is required as is a clear understanding of how front to back (E2E) business processes should be organized at a Tier1 investment bank.

- The ability to work cross-functionally and build good working relationships front to back is essential.

- Team and people management skills and ability to work effectively across geographical time zones in a global environment is also essential.

- At least 10 years of relevant work experience at an international tier 1 bank or equivalent would be strongly preferred. A career history which includes risk, P&L and accounting experience in Product Control is desirable.

- In terms of education, a University degree in Engineering, Sciences, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related subjects is most relevant.

- The role requires fluent written and spoken English and the ability to articulate key information up to management level as well as across global teams.
