The Assurance team at EY GDS is looking for a Senior Manager who can manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work as per EY Global Standards for our Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) team.   Job purpose :   - The Senior Manager will be responsible for working closely with FAAS Leadership, Partners, Senior Managers and Managers on client engagements across Americas and EMEIA.   - She/he will provide technical support, grow the GDS portfolio and coach GDS Managers.   - The Senior Manager should have extensive experience in Financial Accounting Advisory Services. She/he is also expected to display strong technical knowledge in US GAAP and/or IFRS. While the Senior manager will be based out of our Gurgaon or Bangalore office, she/he will be required to travel to other countries (medium to long term) to lead client service teams.   Your client responsibilities :   Manage quality of service delivery :   - Lead multiple global/domestic client engagement teams and ensure exceptional quality service.   Act as a FAAS subject matter specialist for one or more FAAS solutions :   - Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence   - GAAP conversions   - Transaction accounting   - Accounting change (revenue recognition, Lease accounting)   - Accounting policy and governance   - Audit remediation and readiness   - Organizing and providing technical training   - Addressing service delivery quality issues if and when they occur   Manage and develop people :   - Conduct FAAS team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance
