Essential Functions of the Job :  - Be part of a team that works closely with clients and businesses across industries and sectors in the MENA region to  - Identify their immediate challenges around taxation in the context of Digital disruptions in their organizations  - Develop an enhanced operate and delivery model that is a strategic fit for them in the Digital age  - Develop a blueprint for seamlessly integrating Digital with the enterprise processes and systems.  - Contribute to / lead various Digital Transformation engagements that involve assessment and discovery of client's current business models and capabilities and proposing, architecting and implementing digital solutions that are aligned to client's near term and long term business goals.  - Drive digital competencies across EY's Digital tax team  - Develop Digital solutions for clients to help them adhere to local tax compliance requirements and bring in efficiency to their tax operations  - Collaborate with all EY Service Line teams in their go to market activities and responding to RFPs to embed digital offerings and take ownership to execute such offerings during service delivery  - Architect digital platforms and solutions for business environments that may have, or require a combination of traditional platforms and technologies, along with new and emerging digital technologies through multiple delivery models that include SAAS and PAAS  - Perform technology & solutions capability maturity assessment in context, carry out application rationalization exercise, understand and apply Digital governance in context and devise Digital strategy and road map to achieve business goals.  - Guide internal and external User experience, Research, IT services teams, product development teams and vendors to build prototypes and design, develop and deploy Digital Platforms, Products, Applications, Infrastructure and Services as business solutions  - Design and conduct Executive level presentations, demo, and workshops, and build case studies and thought leaderships on Digital trends in taxation services and solutions across industries, sectors and geographies.  - Perform financial modeling, ROI calculations for various Digital investments.  - Contribute to Digital transformation consulting practice by contributing to technology & industry research, developing consulting frameworks, tools, and other reusable artefacts, and taking part in multiple forms of collaboration and business development within the organization  - Lead/ contribute to development of industry specific consulting artefacts and solution accelerators.  - Identify and evaluate external ideas, solutions, products and technologies that could be used to expand EY capabilities.  - Respond in various capacities to consulting proposals and play an active role in business development and EY branding initiatives.  - Travel to client locations on short notice for leading/supporting Digital Solution and Transformation consulting engagements.  Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:  - Possess a strong consulting mindset characterized by structured & logical thinking, ability to take multiple approaches to solving a problem, and ability to carry out both qualitative and quantitative assessment of a proposed solution.  - Possess a strategic and innovative mind set and be comfortable working with multiple estimation techniques.  - Able to operate independently or with minimum supervision.  - Able to do detail planning for an end to end engagement, detailing out pros & cons and on the associated cost-benefit analysis.  - Able to quickly evaluate multiple options in given situations and be agile & response  Knowledge and Skills Requirements:  - Sound understanding and extensive experience in various solutions architecture frameworks in the industry and their implementation.  - Able to be bring out reliable and scalable architecture in Conceptual, Logical and Physical dimensions.  - Experience in large or complex deployments is desirable, and preferably in a multi-country, multi-lingual context.  - Possess sound knowledge of business models, organizational value chain, cost benefit analysis and the business-IT alignment across industries  - Extensive experience on at least two Digital Transformation consulting engagement involving, but not limited to studying AS-IS business model and capabilities, BPR, fit gap analysis, technology/ solution assessment and selection, project viability analysis by applying Financial modeling and/ or statistical tools/ concepts, and creating/ evaluating solution and/ or integration architecture.  - Possess solid understanding of application of a mix of traditional and legacy technologies with new and emerging ones in the Digital space, especially the disruptive ones, as applied in the context of client's business  - Possess solid understanding of Product development and software development lifecycles and models including Agile/Scrum and DevOps  - Abreast with latest technology trends, industry solutions, regulatory practices & trends (BASEL II, FATCA, IATA regulations etc.).  - Possess knowledge of competitive product bench marking, industry bench mark and KPI assessment.  - Able to understand & apply basic Management Consulting frameworks to various Digital Transformation solutions.  - Experience in working in client facing roles on large/ medium Digital Transformation consulting engagements.  - Possess excellent skills in PowerPoint, Visio/Diagramming tools and visualization tools.  - Possess excellent Written and Communication skills.  - Possess excellent Interpersonal and influencing skills.  - Quick learner with positive attitude and flexibility to learn new technologies/ frameworks/ concepts.  Other Responsibilities:  - Mentor and coach junior consultants on the job.  - Propose and introduce best practices, promote active knowledge sharing, and demonstrate high professional ethics  - Be involved in various capacities in internal trainings and workshops, promoting a culture of learning and development.  Other Requirements:  1. Willing to travel on a need basis and at short notice.  Job Requirements:  Education :  1. Mandatory: BE/ B.Tech.  2. Nice to have/ preferred: MBA (Full time).  Experience :  10+ years of industry experience with at least 3 years as a Solutions Architect with proven abilities in independently delivering end to end Digital Transformation consulting engagements, and having in-depth understanding of current and emerging technology and business domains. Prior experience in working in Middle East region will be an advantage.  Certification Requirements:  Any horizontal certifications such as TOGAF 9.x, ITIL, and/ or industry specific/ domain (Tax) certifications are a plus.
