About GDS :   The Global Delivery Services (GDS) is an important component of EY's Vision 2020 strategy and have an ever increasing shared services footprint across the world, including five centers in India and centers in Argentina, China, Poland and the Philippines. GDS headcount is currently ~ 20,000 and is predicted to grow to over 30,000 by 2020. GDS provides enabling services to EY member firms, Service lines, business support functions and Area / Global entities and is structured under two broad categories; Client Service and Enablement Services.  GDS Client Service is focused on providing assurance, advisory, tax, TAS, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. Our teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.   GDS Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY's global and local enablement teams. Markets, Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC), Administration and Workplace Services (AWS), Finance and Accounting Services (F&A), Risk Management Services (RMS), Procurement Services, Talent Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services  Primary Responsibilities and Accountability :  - Drive the Business HR activities for the business units (new initiatives, policies & strategies)  - Ensure employee Engagement, Employee Satisfaction & Retention for the Business Units  - Ensure resolution to employee's issues / grievances within SLAs  - Track Early Warning Indicators & conduct retention / counselling meetings  - Career Planning & People Development  - Synchronization and coordination with other departments -  - Attrition analysis - To understand trends and make recommendations  - Plan & organize BU wide activities like Town Hall, fun activities etc  - Responsible for reward & recognition program administered in business units.  - Organize - cultural activities.  - Responsible for day to day general HR activities.  - HR Metrics & Reporting  Experience :  - 5-7 years post qualification experience in service industry  - The incumbent should have experience in & be instrumental at inception stage (ramp up)  - Should have handled at least 1 cycle of PMS  - Experience in employee relations mandatory  - Experience of handling BU with large number of employees is an added advantage  - Experience in designing HR metrics  Competencies / Skills :  - Possesses good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries of both external and internal customers  Excellent MS-Office Skills - power point and excel Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and people centric approach to understand employee needs as well as to manage employee expectations  - Self motivator, analytical and result oriented to complete task as per timelines  - Good listener and able to build rapport easily to understand, resolve queries and counsel them as required  - Possesses People management, Influencing, Problem Solving Skills  - Employee Coaching and Counseling skills  - Good Presentation Skills  - Willing to take Ownership  Education : MBA (HR)
