The details of the role are as follows:

Job Description: This position would be primarily responsible for Credit bureau. However, will also provide support to Sr. Manager FP&A for overall India

Management Reporting, Analysis and Forecasting:

- Support the month end close process and monthly forecasting process working with business teams to ensure that data is submitted into system according to APAC timeline requirements

- Preparation of monthly reporting and forecasting packs, working with the business to understand performance, current issues and trends covering P&L and monitoring of key KPIs

- Liaise with APAC Experian Team to complete our global reporting requirements per monthly, quarterly and annual timelines

- Prepare various ad-hoc financial analyses as required from time to time to support on-going business decisions and monitoring

- Exposure to all financial areas of the business

Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist with a Mid-Year Forecasting, 3 year Strategic Plans and Budgeting processes which occurs during the financial year, including providing support during the overall process, co-ordinating with various business teams in India and APAC Finance and ensuring an efficient planning process

- Consolidation of India Financials

Ad hoc / Other Reporting:

- Drive improvements under finance projects initiated by APAC / Globally covering areas such as data quality, management reporting and business partnering

- Prepare various ad-hoc financial analysis as required from time to time to support on-going business decisions and Strategic Project Committees (SPCs)

System / Processes

- Effective use of Experian reporting systems particularly Hyperion for managing monthly results and forecasts

- Work with the business, system teams and APAC teams to improve effectiveness and efficiency through streamlining the processes / system integration / information flow

Requirement:

- Candidate should be qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent

- At-least 5-6 years post qualification experience working in similar financial areas as part of as a part of team and to a tight deadlines

- Experience of working with financial systems particularly Hyperion. Experience of Oracle would be an advantage

- Strong presentation & Communication skills – ability to produce clear, considered and well-presented analysis (Candidate would require to present hypothetical presentation to the management team during interviews)

- Ability to work independently, take ownership of work streams and proactively manage upward

- Ability to establish strong relationship with business teams

- Knowledge of Salesforece.com (CRM package) would be an advantage.
