Technology Transition  Span of Control : Project Based  Basic Function :  This role will be responsible for :   - Business Technology solution designing, working closely with Technology Pre-Sales & Business Operations team and contribute in Sales by addressing various Business opportunities in the form of RFx in the international BPO / KPO industry.  - To design and propose appropriate and compelling solution proposals by leveraging knowledge and experience of typical outsourced processes in at least two of the mentioned Business domains viz., Healthcare, Insurance, Travel, Transportation, Logistics, BFSI or F&A.  - Conduct Requirement Gathering workshops with clients (both internal / external) and author Business and Functional Requirements Specifications for the Platforms, Products, Tools and/or Solutions.  - Based on gathered requirements, carry out analysis of business processes in each RFx, identifying gaps and designing solutions embedding Technology offerings and also facilitating implementations.  - Create differentiation with unique value propositions  - Provide required specific inputs to address numerous requirements in RFI/RFPs  - Client specific high level technology embedded business solutions and associated costs and Implementation timelines  - Client specific due diligence representations and coordination  - Leading the process specific Technology offering enablement for all new client engagements in project based environment working along with a cross functional Technology & Business Team.  Essential Functions :   Pre Sales Support :  Solution Submission :  - Responsible for supporting the Global Technology Presales team, in a Solution Specialist capacity, during all phases of the sales process i.e. RFI & RFP, due diligence representations and coordination.  - Developing and delivering customized Technical presentations, including solution descriptions and graphical diagrams.  - Identification of new BPO / KPO specific business Technology solutions through market study and other research initiatives.  Technology Solution and Designing :  - Lead the effort to gather business requirements, understand in-scope Processes and provide solutioning inputs for designing client specific complex technology solutions duly proposing EXLs Technology offerings / Tech Wrappers or Partner Products / platforms where applicable.  - Requirement based travel with members of the migration and sales teams, meet customers & prospects, understand customer environments, their needs, and present solutions  Budgeting and pricing :  - Prepare & submit Comprehensive costing inputs in line with the prepared solutions Technology Project Management, Enablement & Integration  - Function as Solution Specialist and coordinate with EXL's Technology Transition team to ensure enablement of the specific technology offering  - Proactively communicate with Project Lead on issues/risks that could impact the project.  - Participate in project planning sessions with Project Managers, Business leaders and Technology SME's to analyze business / technology requirements  - Ensure cost management for the transitioning through identification, approval, tracking and reporting of technology enablement cost  - Work with EXL legal / Operations and client Technology team towards technology inputs included in MSAs and SoWs specific to the solution  - Ensure the timeliness and quality of all project deliverables including conducting solution reviews, and overseeing all project-related quality initiatives  Primary Internal Interactions :  - Pre Sales and Business Development Teams for new business initiative support  - Strategic Account Managers  - Business and Operations leaders to understand the business dynamics  - Migration Managers to work during transition and Technology SPOC  - Various Technology Sub-functions and work stream - Technology Solution, and enablement  - Commercial for client specific New Procurement  - Legal to ensure Technology elements are captured in new client MSAs  Primary External Interactions :  - Client Technology Team  - Technology Vendors for new solution identifications  Skills :  Technical Skills :  - Good understanding of the outsourced processes in BPO industry with significant hands-on experience of leveraging various technology BPA Tools / Technology Wrappers / Industry-specific Process automation  Products as a part of overall Technology Solution  - At least 3 years of Business Technology Solution Design experience in at least two of the following industry verticals: - Insurance, Healthcare, Utilities, Travel, Transportation, BFSI or F&A  Process Specific :  Skills :  - Excellent Analysis skills - CCBA / CBAP certifications is preferred  - Domain knowledge of at least two of the above mentioned industry verticals is highly desirable - IAOP (or similar industry recognized) Certifications in any of the aforementioned domains will be nice to have  - Demonstrated Technology Solutioning skills with a fair understanding on various technology components like Network, Telephony, and Telecom etc.  - Thorough understanding of Costing / Pricing of services /products  - Good command over MS Office suite of products, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Intermediate level of competency for MS Project and MS Visio will be required.  Soft skills (Desired) :  - Self-starter, quick learner, intellectually agile and analytical  - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skill  Soft Skills (Minimum) :  - Strong verbal and written communication skills  - Good team player with strong stakeholder management  - Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver as per deadlines  Education Requirements :  Minimum : BE / B. Tech from a recognized University / Institute with good academic record and Industry  Recognized certifications :  Desired : Post-Graduate (MBA) in IT / Systems from Tier 1/ Tier 2 institute  Work Experience Requirements :  - Total IT/ ITeS industry experience of 7+ years with at least 3 years in a Solution Design Specialist role  - Excellent knowledge of the business processes in the ITeS Industry in at least two of the verticals  - Insurance, Healthcare, Utilities, Travel, Transportation, BFSI  - Proven Technology Business Solutioning experience in Industry verticals such as Insurance, Healthcare, Travel, Logistics, Utilities, F&A etc.  - A professional with an Applications background will be preferred.
