EXL Service - Assistant Vice President - Technology Applications (10-13 yrs)
Basic Function:
Lead Enterprise Automation and Applications Shared Services Maturity (including ERP) managing deeper engagements with stakeholders from Functions and corporate and drive Functional-IT Roadmap
Lead and drive scoping, solutioning, delivery, implementation and adoption of enterprise capabilities across EXL Enterprise
Participate in evaluation and recommendation of Information Systems strategy for the Enterprise including short-term and long-term roadmap/plans.
Drive partnership and alliances with OEM/Suppliers/Partners for capacity creation, skill augmentation, support and go-to-market capabilities
Manage a large geographically spread team of technology professionals, including Talent management, Succession development, Retention Management. Drive Organization Structure & Leadership development for evolving enablement and engagement needs of the EXL Business
Essential Functions:
Participate/Drive Ideation and innovation strategies with Enterprise (Enabling Functions & Corporate), value showcasing from selected Initiatives with the CXO-level and business heads, through presentation and demonstrations
Manage qualitatively, multiple application enablement initiatives across enterprise and effective tracking & reporting to Sponsors/Stakeholders
Interface/Liaison with Functions for all Technology related deliveries, define the requirements for services, tools, data and process to be use across multiple clients
Participate and drive budgeting (creation & optimization) activities for the application sub-function based upon the various BAU application maintenance & support necessities and new initiatives roadmap
Participate in defining and auditing SDLC process and procedures. Representing in Internal Audits and SOX compliance audits.

Technical Skills:
Have sound knowledge in Oracle ERP & Oracle Applications R12, Experience in functional aspects of Oracle applications -Accounts Payables, Cash Management, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory and knowledge on Core HRMS concepts
Experience of managing Enterprise ERP (Oracle) CRM and BI (OBIEE/ Cognos/ Hyperion) systems that support Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and Supply Chain
Experience negotiating software purchase and support agreements as well as crafting and reviewing large integrator and consultancy Statements of Work (SOWs) is essential.
Experience with external SaaS and IaaS platforms (Contracts, Provisioning and Supplier engagement) with familiarity on service bus technologies and software integration models is desirable.
Knowledge of prevalent application platforms/technologies (BPM, ECM, DMS, Scanning & Imaging, SOA) and Industry standard frameworks (J2EE, Microsoft .Net) is preferred
Industry recognized certification like Application Delivery is an advantage
Knowledge of basic and advanced delivery tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio
Process Specific Skills:
Understanding/Delivery Experience in a Business Aligned IT scenarios
Understanding and experience of using various SDL model Agile/Scrum, Waterfall etc.
Understanding of processes of Business Verticals like Insurance, Banking, Utilities, Logistics, Travel is an added advantage
Education Requirements:
Graduate, preference for degree in Computer Science (MCA/BS/BE) with industry recognized certifications
Engineering graduate with MBA (preferred)
Work Experience Requirements:
A total of 10-13 years in managing various aspect of Application Delivery (Solutioning, Project Management, Presales)
Out of at least 4-6 years in managing Application Deliveries and Support (including Enterprise platforms like ERP & BI) and another 2 - 3 year of end-to-end Project delivery management (including scoping/requirement gathering, planning, resourcing and supplier management, costing/budgeting, implementation management and adoption for a large enterprise)
Experience in a BPO environment is preferred
