POSITION TITLE: DGM / GM - Sales Force Automation  BUSINESS UNIT: Sales Support  REPORTING TO: EVP - Sales Support  NO OF REPORTEES: 2  LOCATION : HO  Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish) :   - Run the sales automation Program which includes new applications, processes, interfaces to enhance the productivity of the distribution channels  - Identify and document the scope of Sales automation functionalities in conjunction with the Sales Leadership and other departments  - Business SPOC for Sales Automation projects in the organization - to identify the phases and plan for implementation  - Working with the Key Stakeholders in the Sales Organization in monitoring and driving adoption rates  - Manage and direct the existing applications - Distributors- portal and the Compensation Management system  - Interface with IT for all Sales requirements across multiple channels including timely delivery of projects  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned) :  - Drive the sales automation project for all sales verticals  - Identify key deliverables, define phases & change management practices   - To ensure effective budget controls that demonstrate adherence to business case  - To ensure re-skilling of staff to support the activity  - Engage with the Sales leadership across various verticals to identify opportunities  - On requirement, guide the IT Development team and Sales Support MIS resources on the Business logic of sales KPIs   Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) :   - Comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of change management  - Proven ability to lead & manage diverse teams  - Effective handling of senior management briefings & reviews  - Working knowledge of Insurance & related distribution channels  - Expert in written & oral communications  - Strong Analytical skills  - Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the data structures at the backend and be able to design solution logic using them.  Personal Attributes & Competencies :   - Strong analytical skills  - Self-Starter  - Good Communication skills  - Strong execution skills  - Passionate & willing to go the extra mile  PERSON PROFILE (for the Ideal candidate) :  Base Location : Bangalore  Age (Min to Max) : 28-35  Experience (Min to Max) : 8-15 years (Preferred experience in managing IT projects)  Specific Qualification Requirement, If any( Eg: CA, LLB) : Degree/Post- Graduate Degree, preferably an MBA from premier institute  Industry Preference(Insurance, Telecom, BFSI) : Insurance, BFSI   Specific Skill Sets and Weight age assigned to various skill sets :   - Overall 8-12 years exp, with 3-4 years- experience in having handled large change management programs, understanding of Financial services industry
