Job Description - Reporting to the Managing Director, you are responsible for:
- Implementing broad strategies that will facilitate expansion plans in a rapidly growing business
- Identifying key accounts, exploring new markets, expanding client bases across the region for increasing turnover Creating business plans, ensuring business profitability and presenting to investors
- Setup of revenue and cost allocation rules
- Being responsible for the financial feasibility of investment decisions
- Analysing monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc MIS for the business, product line and geographic areas
- Creating periodic (monthly, YTD) financials, like P & L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow along with variance analysis with budget/forecast
- Providing analytical review of financials like m-o-m comparison of linear and non-linear costs &, analysis of revenue and profit (by product, geography and vertical), highlighting cost rationalizing or margin improvement ideas
- Implement internal checks and balances / audit processes, and coordinate with external parties globally for statutory audits
The Successful Candidate :
- As a successful applicant you are either a fully qualified Chartered Accountant or an MBA from a top 20 institute.
- You have experience of between 2-5 years in environments that are ambiguous, where personal initiative is paramount.
- You possess excellent analytical, budgeting and forecasting skills, preferably in a consulting/ manufacturing environment.
- You are thoroughly versed with financial and management accounting. You have experience in interfacing with auditors, preferably Big 4.
