Project Description  Department Financial Services  Nature of Job Permanent  Location Gurgaon/India  Job Title Senior Business Analyst / Research Lead  Reporting To Group Manager   Job Family Advanced Research  Job description  - Conducting qualitative research on a variety of areas and prepare standard or custom products  - Structure problems and plan delivery   - Responsible for shaping and delivering insights on multiple projects   - Client communication - via emails, phone and conference calls  - Contribute actively in team discussions and work on various group specific strategic initiatives  - Develop analytical frameworks and research protocols  This role will require the analyst to engage with senior members of the client team to understand problem statement and collaborate to devise effective research methodology. The key aspects of the role include: industry and competitor reports, market sizing, competitive/ strategic insights, providing support on building whitepapers among others.  Skill Set Required/Experience  - Excellent secondary research skills  - Working knowledge of key research databases such as Factiva, Capital IQ, Profound and Thomson One  - Advanced user of standard or meta search engines  - Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application  - Relevant experience in each of the following: data compilation, analysis, synthesis and presentation, with high skill in drawing insights from information  - Ability to work independently on strict deadlines, eye for detail  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  - Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially power point and excel  - Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work  Education and Experience  - Graduate/Post Graduate with previous business research work experience  - Senior Analyst: 3-5 years  - Research Lead: 5-7 years  Salary offered: 8 - 9 LPA
