Job Description:  Roles & Responsibilities:  - Understand and execute wide range of project requirements in terms of data management, data cleansing, ad hoc analytics, reporting, data modeling, analysis planning etc.  - Supporting both tactical and strategic analytics requirements of Life sciences domain   - Program, format, extract and manipulate data to support analysis.   - Rigorously checks, validates and analyzes inputs and outputs to ensure quality, precision and accuracy or results.  - Use strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze prescription data for pharmaceutical industry.  - Assists in query resolutions and ad hoc investigations and analyses.  - Active participation & contribution in team discussions on project specific areas.  - Active client communication both via emails and teleconferences  - Strong analytical aptitude  - SQL/SAS/SPSS preferred, Excel/ VBA also required  Skill sets Required:  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to practice attentive and active listening skills  - Mindset to identify and solve issues effectively   - Respect for time and ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner  - Independent thinking and challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working   - Ability to identify pro-active ways to contribute to the firm's goals & mission   - Advance knowledge of MS Office   - Should have worked on excel and advance excel/VBA based dashboards  - Knowledge of SQL, SPSS, SAS, MS Access, Tableau, QlikView and Spotfire will be an add-on  Education & Experience:  - Graduate or Post-grad in one of the following quantitative/analytical fields with strong academic credentials:  - Operations Research, Applied Mathematics   - Engineering   - Economics  - Business Administration/Finance  - 3-6 years of experience in Advanced Research in Data and Business Analysis for Pharma & Healthcare sector.  - Knowhow of Sales, Prescription and Promotional databases such as IMS MIDAS, Darwin, Encuity Research, Cegedim would be useful.
