This approach enables us to design and manage processes that can generate and harness insights on a large scale, significantly cutting costs and timescales and helping businesses that partner with us to overtake the competition.   We work with clients across a wide range of industries and business functions, helping them to make better decisions faster; reach new levels of efficiency and effectiveness; and see a tangible impact on their top and bottom line.  Position description :  Job Title : Research Lead  Reporting To : Group Manager  Job Family : Industry Research  Job description :  - Develops deep expertise in specialized research tools, databases and sources; may focus on specific data classes (e.g., demographics, micro-economics, technical, etc.)  - Must be able to bring ICT/Technology industry understanding, which would include technology, products, customer segments, competitive forces and trends shaping the industry.  - Analyze and provide insightful analyses on Technology i.e. fibre, sensor, and datacenter like etc.   - Have developed solid understanding of Technology / ICT Industry.  - Should have flair to work across different sectors within the ICT/Telecom value chain and good business acumen.  - Takes pro-active role in quality control process for the client and conducts training, allied activities with the team and the group.  - Identifying and recommending potential strategic markets and solution areas by cross referencing available primary and secondary data along with prior knowledge of ICT/Telecom and Business Processes.   - Analyzing competitive market strategies through analysis of related competitor products and services along with identification of future trends and offerings.  - Writing research reports post analyzing data from industry reports such as Gartner, IDC, Forrester, GfK, Strategy Analytics, TeleGeography, Ovum, etc. and various client subscribed databases/sources.  - Performing market segment and sizing studies, opportunity analysis & technology analysis.  - Managing multiple projects end-to-end and in parallel, including client and stakeholder expectation management, communication, leading client calls,   Skill Set Required :  - Seasoned research professional with a strong focus on ICT/Technology industry.  - Updated with current events in the industry and ability to identify key trends shaping the industry.  - Experience of managing teams/people (mentoring)  - Knowledge of major customer segments, common products and product types.  - Knowledge of major players in the industry and competitive landscape.  - Understanding of industry standard processes and methodologies.  - Understanding of the industry regulatory environment  - Highly adept in understanding business issues and translating them into research priorities.   - Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner   - Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills.   - Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.   - Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working   - Possess a flexible & detail oriented attitude.   - Ability to identify pro-actively ways to contribute to firms goals & mission  - Ability to understand client's business environment, language, and processes  Education and experience :  - The right candidate should have worked for 4-8 years with a reputed firm in Generic / ICT/Telecom/Technology Research and Analysis.   - Good knowledge on IT databases and Latest MS Office tools is required.   - Graduate/Post Graduate  Compensation :  To be decided on a case-by-case basis.
