The role involves covering a broad range of commodities ranging from energy to metals and foods and to provide analytical support to the team including:   a) develop quantitative/statistical tools to analyze commodity performance factors and price drivers  b) perform data collation and analysis,   c) create and maintain information on databases etc   d) help with thematic projects   e) over a period of time you will help write reports and participate in the investment recommendation & decision making process.   Educational Requirements:   - Strong academic record in a quantitative or technical discipline – programming background a significant positive  - Quantitative/statistical skills, as well as an interest in and understanding of financial markets   Skills Required:  Knowledge/Skills:  - Excellent skills relating to data manipulation and interpretation.   - Strong analytical and problem solving skills   - Strong Excel, statistics/econometric knowledge and experience   - Should be well versed with factors affecting commodity markets  - Experience in building factor and/or econometric models  - Database and programming skills strongly desired (VBA at a minimum)  - Ability to synthesize research findings   - Experience with Bloomberg, Thomson One/other market data products will be an advantage   Interpersonal Skills:  - Strong communication skills   - Initiative/Ability to be pro-active   - Problem Solving/Questioning outlook   - Ability to think creatively  - Excellent attention to detail  - Dedication/Resilience   - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks   - Flexible approach to workload and demands of role   Location: Mumbai
